Hall of Shame

I do like it when Russ has that extra cup of coffee in the morning. Russ, I think your post should be sent to the espn web site. Think about it.

Hall of Shame

Let it out Russ! This is the type of stuff I like to hear… especially when I agree with all of it. Rant on. Some people deserve to be dragged out in front of the Hall and shot.

Hall of Shame

Jayson Stark is a moron. I know the Hall of Famers he’s talking about. Here’s the difference between those Hall of Famers who were racists, adulterers, tax frauds, drug users, etc.: Those shortcomings had nothing to do with baseball. Being a racist (while a deplorable personal characteristic does not help you excel [...]

Palmieroids

If he gets into the hall the plaque should read….
Rafael Corrales Palmiero
Chicago, N.L. 1986-1988, Texas, A.L., 1989-1993, Baltimore, A.L. 1994-1998, Texas, A.L. 1999-2003, Baltimore, A.L., 2004-2005
A sweet-swinging left-handed power hitter who amassed, over 20 seasons, 3069 hits, 590 doubles, 579 home runs, 5466 total bases, and 1865 RBI by playing in bandbox hitters parks. [...]

Why?

Palmeiro will never get voted into the hall. Each of you know it won’t happen. Why even waste your time thinking about it?
I want Bonds to get caught. He’s the guy I don’t want in the HOF. Forget Palmeiro – he’s simply not getting in. But Bonds, that fool is worth arguing [...]

Hall of Shame

I also heard this morning that Jayson Stark would still vote for Palmeiro for the HOF because others in the Hall have also done illegal things. I couldn’t believe his argument. The public doesn’t vote but will have the last say on this matter.
Question. Who would you rather [...]

Palmieroids

I heard on ESPN radio this morning that the Orioles planned a Palmiero Day to commemorate his 3000th hit. The day is schedlues for the 3rd game after he serves his suspension. When questioned by a reporter if the day will be cancelled, the O’s PR person said that at this time [...]

BONDS

The reason that Bond’s isn’t playing this year is as follows:
When one stops using steroids the body undegoes a lengthy period of adjustment. As we witnessed with Mr. Giambi and are now witnessing with Sosa and Boone among others. Bonds wants to avoid that embarassment and take time to rebuild his body naturally. A season [...]

Bonds

My understanding is that Bonds cannot be tested because he is on the disabled list. Giambi would have to be outy of his mind to take steroids. I think his hard work has paid off.

Giambi Bonds and 53%

Giambi – it does raise questions, but he never lost the strike zone so when he finally started to hit the ball. It worked. I agree juicing again would be a huge risk for him. 53% is just stupid people saying he must be back on the juice. I don’t [...]
