I don’t want to hear anyone in Yankee’s Management blame this year’s disaster on Pitching injuries. For the most part, the substitute starters have done a good job. Blame a bad bullpen, bad defense, lack of clutch hitting, all put together by a bad front office.

Just think where this team would be without Chacon, Small, and Wang. Throw in the couple of good games that Leiter pitched as well. This team could very well be under .500 at this late point in the season if it weren’t for the aforementioned. A $200 million disaster in every sense. [...]

Just heard on the Yankee broadcast.. Pavano has Rotator tendenitis. Needs 6 weeks of rest and then rehab. So he’s out for the season.
