You forgot about Mo. He just stares in at the umpire for a couple of seconds, the same way he stares down a batter, then returns to the mound. Randy barks at the umps (he is a child). You definitely have moose down. It’s that extra second or two in the feilding position, sometimes followed by a drooping of the shoulders and drop of the head before returning to the mound.

Clutch-o-meter is willing to consider raising A-Rod’s rating. He is still not hitting terribly well with RISP, but he is in the top 3 on every major offensive category (except runs, where he is 4th).

1st in HR (39) – (Ortiz 35, Manny 33)
1st in OPS (1.029) – (Hafner .990, Giambi .988)
1st in SLG (.611) – (Ortiz .592, Manny .585)
2nd in OBP (.418) – (Giambi .443, Hafner .411)
3rd in BA (.320) – (Damon .325, Young .323)
3rd in RBI (104) – (Oritz 117, Manny 115)
3rd in BB (73) – (Giambi 82, Ortiz 77)
4th in Runs (96) – (Jeter 100, Damon 99, Ortiz 97).

Right now the AL MVP race (among hitters) is between A-Rod and Ortiz, with Manny close behind. A-Rod would have had a shot at a triple crown if he was hitting 3rd, but that’s Sheff’s spot. BTW – Sheff only cracks the top 5 in the above categories in RBI, where he is 5th. Vlad is 4th in BA and 5th in SLG.
