Slowest Yankee: Gary Sheffield. This result is still under investigation because of allegations that Mike T. may have voted 67 times, yelling about the lack of hussle from this Yankee great.

Most ridiculous in a Yankee uniform: John Sterling. This late entry overcame a 20 vote deficit to overtake Mark Bellhorn. Apparently photos of Sterling in a uniform while on the set of Mount Vernon High School’s production of “Oklahoma” accompanied this option. It is unknown whether Sterling was singing “Surrey with the fringe on top” or “Oklahoma!” in the picture.
