There is a rumor that the Yankees have engaged in trade talks with the Texas Rangers. Talks have involved Pavano, newly aquired Brad Wilkerson, Sean Henn, and 25 year-old Laynce Nix.

It appears that Pavano and Wilkerson have dropped off the table. With Nix being hurt for much of 2005 with two shoulder surgies, it won’t take much to get him. Although, he is 25 years old. Sean Henn’s name has surfaced. Texas needs pitching with Kenny Rogers going to the Tigers and with Chan Ho Park having been traded to San Diego for Phil Nevin.
