I woke Monday to find that the New York Football Giants, as Howard Cosell referred to them until the day he died, had clinched the playoffs. I can’t figure why, and no one seems to have written why Vikes loss created it. At any rate, if it was baseball and the Yanks, the Table would have the permutations and combinations of all playoff possiblities locked in by mid-September. It is great to be in a support group.
