First, I agree with Joe about the baseball classic. I could care less and, more importantly, I believe the general public in the U.S. agrees.
I believe Goose should be in the Hall. Anyone watching him, or facing him at the plate, has to agree that he was a dominant relief pitcher.

I will be critical of myself because usually I don’t believe in debating too much over candidates – either someone is a Hall of Famer or they are not. The cases of Goose Gossage and Jim Rice (especially Goose) are a little different.
