Rice…

According to Baseball-reference.com, Jim Rice’s career most closely matches the career of Orlando Cepeda with a 911 score. The higher the score the closer the match. Cepeda is in the HOF. Interestingly, other players with whom Rice supposedly compares are….

Wait a minute… How would you compare Rice to Dale Murphy who had 2 MVP’s , 398 HR’s, 5 gold gloves, etc.
I’m not saying I like Murphy better… maybe both don’t belong in the HOF.
