I believe that Theo will be named Vice President, Baseball Operations with the Co-GMs reporting to him.

This move really makes Sox management look silly. It’s mid-January and they have no shortstop or center fielder. They’ve proved that they have no clue what they’re doing.

Theo kept in close contact with John Henry through his hiatus. At the insistence of Henry, Theo was consulted on some of the player moves. The move is really brilliant on Epstein’s part: he was able to circumvent Lucchino by leaving the organization. He gambled that Lucchino would screw things up – which he did. Henry was left with no option but to bring Theo back into the picture, thereby proving his importance to the organization while highlighting Lucchino’s deficiencies.

Is it the Boston Zoo or New England Zoo? Whatever…..play ball.
