Going to the Yankees is great for Piazza. I don’t think the Yankees need him as much. True, he is a presence to be reckoned with and is a clutch performer who is familiar with NYC. He hits well in Yankee Stadium too by the way. But the Yankees do not need offense this team will score runs. Having said that, I won’t be too offended because this team can always use another clutch performer.
