Ok – I can’t stand the silence and lack of baseball talk. I heard the Red Sox signed Alex Gonzalez and Coco Crisp. Their infield therefore consists of the following:

Kevin Youkilas (1B), Mark Loretta (2B), Alex Gonzalez (SS) and Mike Lowell (3B). Coco Crisp in CF. Since when did the Red Sox relocate to a small market?

Write this down: The only reason why this team has a shot at 81 wins is a decent pitching staff and Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz. If one of those guys goes down with an injury for any amount of time – I don’t know how they remain competitive with Tampa who has a nice young offense. You want to say 81 wins because of the pitching. The truth is probably closer to 75 or 76 wins.
