Never too early to think about next year. Pettitte’s contract with the Astros is up after this year and he is being quiet about an extension. Obviously as the season draws further down the road a) the Pettitte to the Bronx rumors will start if the Astros are in the tank, and b) Pettitte will dangle the possibility of a return to the Bronx to get more money from the Astros. My guess is he stays in Houston.
