I said it before and I will say it gain. Get rid of this guy. He is a major distraction on this team. He makes $13 million per year and he constantly complains. Don’t just look at the stats when you evaluate Sheffield. He did nothing in the playoffs and he is a poor outfielder.

The Yankees would be well served if they do not pick up his option year. The sooner this guy is gone the better the “team” will be. Just like Keven Brown.

Trade him to the Knicks. They have a knack of picking up over paid, over-the-hill, selfish ballplayers. Sheffield would fit right in.
