From what my direct TV installer told me, when the Yankees broadcast in HD, Direct TV has another channel that you can switch to to view the channel in HD. The rest of the time there is nothing on the channel (kind of like the extra ESPN channels in the 200’s that don’t have programing all the time). I have not confirmed this with Direct TV themselves. If I get more info I will advise.
