Superpretzels!

Hey, don’t laugh about the pretzels, my wife loves them!  We often have a box in the freezer – stick them in the toaster oven for about 10 minutes and there you go a nice tasty snack!

Carl and Clemens

Pavano is definitely learning that life is tough in NY when you do not get on the field.  I believe Moose was trying to explain that when you’re not around – this is reality.  Pavano is going to have to work his butt off this year.
And on the flip side, that just illustrates why Clemens [...]

Moose on Carl

Moose was asked about the whole pitching staff at a recent awards diner.  He basically said that the team expected Pavano back many times and he was a no show.  He said that Carl has to come back to the clubhouse as a new guy again, then prove himself and earn the trust of his [...]

Mussina throws a brushback

Mussina has been known as mind his own business guy and a fairly self-involved guy. No problem there, he is a pro who does his work and competes hard. His challenge to Carl Pavano to show up and produce seems a little out of character, but then again Pavano is such a useless joke Moose is [...]

Helton

MLB.com is reporting that the Helton to Red Sox deal is apparently losing steam.  I didn’t get a chance to read the details as to why.

How funny is this ad:

Quiet

“Somebody tell a joke.”

Barbaro Dies

It took me a while to come up with a Yankee connection to this, but here it is…  “Associated Press reports Mickey Rivers, former NY Yankee outfielder, will deliver the eulogy at the horse’s funeral.” Mick always worried more about his track results than his batting average. Mick the Quick. Walk to the batter’s box [...]
