Mike T: All true.
I guess my threshhold for the impossibilities of the show depend on my state of mind when I view it.

John, to say that anything involved with 24 was “stupid” is to ignore the reality of the show.  The whole thing is stupid when you look at it as a whole.  Just think about the 24 hrs of season 4.

Disappointed by “24″ Premier

I loved “24″ in prior seasons, but the first 4 hours were plainly stupid and political (Sorry Mike T):
1. All the best shows go down the drain when the writers/producers decide they are politicians. The racial profiling subplots were ridiculous. The scene with two caucasians banging on the front door of a house to assault [...]

24 & Torre

Wayne Palmer must be a democrat.  Weak minded, and has a relative somewhere that’s bound to muck things up.  Now if Joe Torre was president, he’d handle all the people in his administration very well, but at the most critical moment he would call Jack Bauer back to CTU and let the world blow up.

Hiatus

Baseball is indeed slow, but I enjoyed Mike T’s comments. My guess is since Lupica has written a few bestsellers and sold at least one for a movie screenplay, he gets to write about whatever he wants so the News keeps him happy and he doesn’t leave.
The “24″ chronology does seem to put Jack a [...]

What the @#$?!

Although this is a baseball site, I figured I commit it to writing: Take it to the bank – Neither Barrack Obama or Hiliary Clinton will be President of the United States.  Oh and by the way, add Rudy G. to that list as well.  You see, sometimes in the NY metropolitan area it’s hard [...]

What the @#$%!

Can someone explain to me why Mike Lupica is permitted by the Daily News to write about the political process?  Seriously, this is why I read the Post!  But today, eveyone bought all the NY Post copies out of the machine so I was forced to read the Daily Snooze! Just awful.

And since there is nothing remotely [...]
