The only problem I have with Cano batting 6th is that Matsui then bats 7th and you have 3 lefties in a row. I personally would love to have Cano bat as high as 5th, but there are still 4 number 3/4 hitters on this team (Abreu, Giambi, A-Rod, Matsui) who legitimately should bat higher up. The lineup I would really love to see would be….

This lineup puts the 4 best OBP guys up after Damon. But I doubt Torre will bat A-Rod 5th.
