This is a big year for Matusi. With Sheffield gone, probably downward production from Giambi in all likelihood, it is essential that Matusi go back to his old ways of 155 games and hit .295, 30 HRs, 115 RBIs, .380 OBP and play solid defense.Â

Burn your T-Shirt and buy a new one. Cano has changed his number from 22 to 24. Clemens wore #22 for most of his stint with the Yankees. Talk about a “full court press.” …Although, it is reported that Cano was not asked to change his number, he volunteered. I guess expectations are high.
