Mussina has been known as mind his own business guy and a fairly self-involved guy. No problem there, he is a pro who does his work and competes hard. His challenge to Carl Pavano to show up and produce seems a little out of character, but then again Pavano is such a useless joke Moose is only stating the obvious. Why would Moose know about anything that Pavano is doing in the off season (which for Carl has been almost 2 years now). My guess is front office leaked some dirt to Moose, and it p.o.’d Mike enough to go public.
