You wonder if Mariano’s comments were partly inspired by seeing Bernie Williams being cut loose. Career ends happen to them all, but Mo is making Cashman think a little while he is still able to generate those production numbers. Nothing wrong with taking the offensive, a shot across the bow to get their attention.
