You can tell it’s a snow (slow?) day.  I am concerned about the effect of astronomical payrolls on ticket prices too.  But if the Yankees slashed $40 million from payroll tomorrow, would they cut ticket prices?

The other thing that annoys me is that the Yankees throw all kinds of money on losers. Why should Mo be asked to take less because the Yankees made stupid decisions?  Kevin Brown, etc., etc., we could go on and on. 

I disagree.  Your own numbers bear out the absurdity of this.  Wagner and Mo earn the same money?  Are they worth the same?  Rivera earned $10.5 million last year.  Is he the 8th most important Yankee on the team?  List the Yankees that currently make more: A-Rod, Jeter, Giambi, Mussina, Damon, Matusi, and Abreu.  Heck, [...]
