Since I’ve had about 20 cups of coffee today, I guess I can have one more.  I would be honored to do it next week.  I’ll wait until after Monday – (I’ll be in attendance Opening Day so that will be good).  I hope I’m up to it.

I’ll probably have to discuss how A-Rod got booed after his first at-bat of the season when he pops out (as Mike and the Dog said at lunch time).  

As far as Yankee succession goes, George’s sons (Hank and Hal) or daughters need to get involved. I mean, George’s daughters have never really showed much interest, but maybe they need to.  I mean have have a general worry on this subject but my worry has not increased because Swindal is not there.  Swindal is not a baseball man, that will continue to be left to those who know (the concern here will be when Gene Michael retires, they’ll need someone to replace his wise judgment, I don’t know who that individual is).  And, I think the business model is in place for the next generation or so, and therefore the business end just needs some responsible leadership at this point.   Â
