American Idle.
by Mike TNY Post writer, Kevin Kiernan, makes a good point. The time is slipping away for Pavano:
The door is open. The Yankees are getting tired of waiting for Pavano. On the flight back from Oakland one veteran Yankee went to Pavano to let him know the team needs him to come back as quickly as he can from this latest setback.
When teammates start telling you to hurry back, you have to get that message. If Pavano doesn’t, you can be sure his teammates won’t be asking him again. Roger Clemens is waiting in the wings in Texas; young pitchers like Sebern Chase Wright are chasing their dream. The Yankees can no longer be caught waiting for Pavano.
