Vizcaino is not that good!! BRUNEY BRUNEY BRUNEY!!! For cryin out loud. Vizcaino gave up a game tying homerun in the 7th after replacing Pettitte. GRRR.  Yankees have Jeter at third, Giambi at 1st with 2 out. Matsui up. (Oh and Suzyn reports that Meyers is warming in the bullpen). Luckily Matsui came through and Farnsworth actually got [...]

That was hilarious! Slim Good body. Wait till I tell Jenn!
Between the injuries, the rainout and Slim Goodbody, we need some games to talk about!

Slim Goodbody! – The rain out forced the Yankees hand. The scouts report no hamstring problems with Slim. At least none that they can see.Â

Don’t forget that they play two today. First game at 3:35. The rainout screws up the scedule, pushing Pettite back a day. Means they need to call up another rookie to start on Monday.

I have a Cup O’ Joe percolating, [...]

Marty Miller gone. That’s nice. Fired after he had a chance to do major damage to this pitching staff. My faith is really shaken in Cashman. Don’t get me wrong, Miller should have been fired. But why is he hired to begin with? Is Cashman listening to any baseball people? And Torre, how phony is [...]

For example. Pavano is being paid all this money. Can the Yankees have him act at the locker room attendant? A few weeks of washing A-rod, Giambi and Jeter’s jocks, mopping up the showers and cleaning the urinals and he may miraculously recover. Another plan I have would be to allow a Yankee Fan to slap him [...]

I guess no one was really expecting Pavano to be a factor, but now he may certainly be out of the picture. $40 Million. Flush.
