Keeping up with the Yankees

David Letterman said that to keep pace with the signing of long-in-the-tooth Roger Clemens, the Red Sox are considering thawing Ted Williams. Good line.
Slow news day – report Ricky Henderson is mulling a comeback. He is younger than Julio Franco, but a lot more burned out, unfortunately.

A nice tidy win
