Another Quality Start (and of course, We Wove Wang)
by RussThe Texas Rangers are bad – and their big guns are not hitting. Having said that, their best hitters can turn it around any moment and I will give Mussina credit. He worked out of that jam (3rd inning?). I’m happy with the way the rotation is going right now. Last night was a big game to win because this afternoon we have Wang going.Â
I hope this thing with Giambi is not serious. Bone spurs can be played with depending on where they are. This one seems to be on his “push” off foot. Maybe Geno can work some magic and create a special shoe for extra comfort.
Let’s get a win before we get out of town – this is rough – going across country to Seattle where I believe it will be (Rasner, DeSalvo and Pettitte) and then off to Chicago, but don’t let the record fool you, they are still a tough team. This is no time for letting up because the Red Sox are home with Bal (yeah, that’s a match), Det (competition) and Atlanta (who always seems to rollover for them).
