Getting younger doesn’t happen overnight. Cashman has a plan and he is executing. Clippard is just more evidence of this plan. Pitchers like DeSalvo, Hughes, Rasner, Karstons, Wright and position players Cervelli, Tabata and Gardner are part of the plan. Many of the pitchers have been promoted before they should have for obvious reasons. The Yankees are stuck with some contract… Giambi and Abreu. But time is taking care of these contracts and Cashman is working on younger replacements. This is the change we all have been looking for. Maybe demanding this change and expecting them to win is asking too much.

Hey John B. How about pouring us a Cup o’ Joe this week?
