The Giambi Trade

I am proceeding under the assumption that the rumor is valid in one respect: the Angels are interested in acquiring a power bat to protect Vlad.  Joe, I agree that’s my assessment of Giambi too but we’ve seen him everyday since 2002.  But one man’s trash is another’s trove.  There’s always an owner dumb enough [...]

Giambi Trade – Never happen!

No GM in his right mind would trade for Giambi.  I don’t care how much of his salary the Yankees agree to pick up.  He’s always hurt. He can’t Run or play the field. And he is a constant Steroid distraction. Finally, he is not producing and probably never will again.

Andrew Eugene Pettitte

What a job.  I can’t say enough about how he has pitched thus far this season.  His second start against the Red Sox was a little disappointing but obviously if anyone has watched his starts he has truly earned about 6-7 wins this year that he didn’t get.  We needed that win – and Andy [...]
