Ok, so Mussina has earned his way out of the doghouse and into the basement.  After last night he can sleep in the kitchen.  A nice game, but I need to see more.  Let’s be honest, the D-backs are one of the younger lineups in baseball and a tailor made situation for Moose.  Let me see this next week when he lines up to start against Colorado at Coors Field.  This weekend I think it’s Clemens v. Perez, Clippard v. Glavine, and Wang v. El Duque. 

A-Rod is on fire again.  Holy Stromboli.  I, personally don’t think he’s getting enough credit because he was the whipping boy last year, but that’s the media.  I would hate to think where the team would be if he wasn’t having this kind of year.  Remember, he probably had the biggest hit – the ninth inning HR in Boston off of Papelbon on June 3rd.  8 in a row with Pettitte ready to go.  That’s a nice place to be.  I like the idea of the team swinging the bats well and getting right back into things with an afternoon game.  And, hopefully, Andy will take care of business this afternoon and send the Diamondbacks on their way.Â
