That makes me a traitor to the Roundtable but let me explain. I’m talking about 1957, Hank Aaron’s only ring, with his Braves (mostly due to Lew Burdette) beating the Yanks. It gives me some satisfaction that Hank has a ring but Barry Bonds will live and die without that honor. Of course, I’m happy Yanks got revenge on Braves (mostly due to “Bullet Bob” Turley for us this time) in 1958.Â
