Ichiro’s deal – 5 years, $90 million. ($17M per season, $5M signing bonus) averages out to $18M per year. I still don’t see how A-Rod is $30+ million. Â

Dumb, dumb, dumb. I know Proctor hasn’t been amazing this year, but to give him up for a First Baseman (of which we have 12 by now) that Phillips is better than both defensively and offensively, would by ludicrous.
