Joe continues to mismanage this team. The lineup should be compressed with the hot guys bunched up. Abreau should be at the bottom of the lineup. The relief pitching is very weak.

Root Cause Analysis

I’ve assembled a list of root causes if the Yanks fail to make the postseason. The list of themes have been recurring topics on the  Rountable this season, but I’ve taken this a step further by parenthetically assigning responsibity for each root cause. We could take this another step by prioritizing the list below. Enjoy.

A day we can be proud of

Yesterday Ripken and Gwynn were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Two fine ambassadors for the game who recall the days when players stayed with their teams. 
I know there may be another persona to Ripken different than his public persona, but when you compare Ripken to some other guys……
