First year with MLB post-season and they F*** it up like this?  C’mon. 
Here’s the schedule:

Wed - TBD/Phi @ 3pm, LA/SOX @ 6:30, CHC/AZ @ 10:00pm
Thurs – TBD/PHI @ 3pm, NY/CLE @ 6:30, CHC/AZ @ 10:00pm
FRI – NY/CLE @ 5pm, LA/BOS @ 8:30PM
SAT – AZ/CHC @ 6PM, PHI/TBD @ 9:30PM
SUN – AZ/CHC @ 1PM, BOS/LA @ 3PM, CLE/NY @6:30PM, PHI/TBD [...]

If at all possible, I would go to Roundtable Day in favor of spending two days going over the scheduled events for this coming weekend.  Russ is right – these annual outings tend to get in the way.

I just read on MLB.com that Friday night’s game is scheduled to start at 5pm.  What an inconvenience!  Looks like I’ll be listening to Flotsom and Jetsom on the radio  for the beginning of the game en route to YR day.

If one was thinking of an excuse, this would be a perfect one. Usually excuses have to communicate and follow what I call “the trinity”:
1) Importance: A good excuse must be one that can’t be easily ignored. Michael achieves this by using a work event.
2) Obsequiousness:  Complete deference to the event and powerlessness to influence rescheduling. Brilliant job [...]
