There is so much happening in Yankee land, it is easy to forget the Yanks are not making a West coast swing next week after finishing their three game series with the Orioles at the Stadium.
It seems you don’t even need actual baseball games to be absorbed by the Yankees, it is like an addiction.

With Joe Girardi as manager of the Yankees…a deal to aquire Miguel Cabrera from the Marlins is highly likely. Cabrera loved playing for Girardi. The issue will be what it will take to get him in a trade.
If Torre goes to Los Angeles as is expected – Mariano River won’t be far behing.
