Alex was probably torn between Boras and Cynthia.  Boras is telling him: “Go for the gusto.  You can get $350 million.”  Cynthia is probably saying: “Oh no you don’t.  I like Manhattan.  I’m not going to that smog infested, wildfire California.  Besides, I can go on Regis and Kelly.  We’re staying!  You march into Hank and Harry’s office and tell them that!”  Alex, like a good husband knows who to listen to when the chips are down.  Don’t be a fool, listen to the wife!
