I thought about Andy.  I believe he’ll be ready to go on Monday.  He’ll answer the questions but beyond that he’ll be fine.  Mussina, if we get anything out of him this year, I’ll be surpirsed.  Keep in mind, often the rotations that you bring north after spring training are not necessarily the ones you have in August.  I actually think we need one more guy – Pettitte, Wang, Hughes, Kennedy and Mussina/Pavano?  Maybe……..

At any rate, this spring training is very important.  We’ll have to keep an eye on Joba, Phil and Kennedy.  We’ll have to see how Matusi’s knee is doing…. can he play the field at all?  We’ll have to see who grabs hold of first base…. Ensberg? Duncan?  We’ll have to see who is going to be the 4th outfielder…  we need someone with fresh legs.  The bullpen is a question too.  Who’s slotting in behind Joba (if he’s going there), Hawkins and Farnsworthless?  Vera? Ramirez? 

I mean we’re dealing with a lot of stuff here……   Who’s going to play?  OMG!  We might as well just concede it all right now!

Sorry…. just a little nervousness on the first full day of workouts.  I’m sure Girardi has got it all figured out.
