Reportedly Shelley Duncan asked Girardi this spring if leveling the catcher was good form in pre-season and he said no, don’t do it. Should we believe that recounting, I guess so, why not, my cynicism level is in spring training mode too.

Phil Hughes has looked very good.  He no hit the Twins through 4 innings.  You think the Twins lament not getting him?
