Mad at Maddon
by John SManagers keep pulling starters who are pitching well, or well enough to win with a big lead, bring in relievers who get eaten up, and don’t learn anything from watching their fellow managers making the same mistake over and over and over.
The Rays are a young team, I don’t know if recovery is possible from last night.
The Reds recovered from the Carlton Fisk down the foul line HR to win the ‘75 Series, I don’t know if the Rays have rebound capacity, they are not a veteran team. When Boston finally shook “the curse” they did it big time. I think souls were sold to the devil, there is no non-supernatural explanlation.
