I agree on the temperment of Philadelphia fans in general and, I really can’t stand their football team and their hockey team. The Phillies, however are a little different – they recently suffered their 10,000th loss in franchise history so they are a little overdue. The Rays have never won it, but they are not a charter member of the National League either.

As a detached baseball fan… yes watching the Rays was fun. And I do respect their manager alot. If there was a picture next to the term “baseball man” – it would probably be Maddon. He’s been a good “baseball man.” As a Yankee fan, however…. I don’t root for American Leage teams, especially those in my own division. I’m not really concerned with American Leage superiority…. that goes in cycles. I’m only concerned with the superiority of one American Leage team. One that is currently playing golf, hunting, fishing, dating Madonna, or whatever right about now…..
