Let me go out on a very thick reinforced limb here and say the Phils win the Series. That makes the last six series 3 and 3 for AL and NL victories.
We always take it as written in stone that the AL is better than the NL as far as number of superior teams compared league to league. Maybe so, but if the only thing that ultimately matters is getting the rings and having Bud Selig present the trophy to your owner and manager in the clubhouse, well, in that respect, the NL seems to be equal to the AL. After all, the Series is baseball’s biggest stage.
