The TV Problem.

Selig did the right thing. You can’t let a post-season series be decided by a rain out. The problem is the start times and the ridiculously late start of the post-season. I just read an article by Jeff Passan on Yahoo Sports while trying to imagine a warm, sunny day.

I guess this World Series will be forever remembered as “the one with the suspended game.”
As far as Maybin goes, I’d be willing to take a chance on him because he’s young and still developing, but Cano straight up is too much. Cano is further along in his development (despite last season). [...]
