Let’s see if Fox can cram so many commercials into tonight’s broadcast that a game starting in the sixth inning will still not be over until 11:45pm. There are two East Coast teams playing, only about 262 people on the entire West Coast are watching anyway, the FOX controlled game start times are just dumb.

Selig did the right thing. You can’t let a post-season series be decided by a rain out. The problem is the start times and the ridiculously late start of the post-season. Could the Yankees possibly grab Cameron Maybin (CF) from the Florida Marlins? I would trade Cano for him. Maybin is 21 with exceptional speed, a great arm, and power. He has a great upside.
