Cano
by John BHeyman reported that the Yanks may consider signing Hudson to play 2B and moving Cano to 1B. Not a bad idea, his fielding certainly slipped last year along with everything else. But, Cano’s power numbers are not typical of a corner infielder – especially a first baseman.
I wonder if this is a bluff to drive the price of Tex down. Cashman is known for playing this game in the past.

Interesting thought about moving Cano to 1B. But I agree, he would need much better offensive numbers to justify playing 1B. I’ve posted my Roster challenge. I think you will like it simply for the shake up value.
