The title of the post reflects how I feel about him.  I know a World Championship eluded him as well as a CY Young, but Moose can hold his head up high – knowing that he gave it his all.  This was an unbelievable year from him and what a way to go out.  He showed some real heart and guts coming back and pitching the way he did.  Sometimes things just don’t work out the way you would like them.  That’s baseball as John Sterling would say.  A nice job Moose – I wonder if he would want to stay in the game after a couple of years off?  He’s a bright guy, maybe keeps to himself a little, but I wonder if there’s a teacher inside of him…  hmmm…. but that’s a question for another day.
