Manuel Ramirez
by JoeMaybe its a generational thing, but I am sorry, Manny does not have the character to play on my team. He is too selfish, too egotistical, untrustworthy and a bad teammate.  His bad clubhouse attitude will overshadow his prolific offense. Even if he is willing to sign for one year, I don’t want him. He is a boil on the butt of baseball and should be shunned.

Re: Manuel. I was looking through some baseball cards over the weekend…and one of the gifts you gave me many years ago for Christmas was a complete set of rookie cards. The top card was the Yankees #1 pick, Brien Taylor. BUT, in that set there is a card for Manuel Ramirez. The set is still shrik wrapped in the original box. I’m not claiming it’s worth anything…but it’s cool to look back and see all the “TOP” draft picks…by the way…the only player in the set who has been successful in baseball is Ramirez. And there was only one other name other than Taylor and Ramirez that I recognized.
