Thanks for clearing that up.
by RussI wasn’t sure if I should be commenting or posting. I guess with the comments, you can’t see it immediately… so perhaps it’s better to just post.Â
With regard to Plax, I don’t know what state of intoxication or sobriety he was in. Obviously, if he’s intoxicated, “club hopping” with a loaded weapon – that’s not good!Â
I agree with his choice of wadrobe. At least throw some jeans on, man! Put the glock in your pocket with a oversized baggy shirt over it. Oh, and by the way - I’m not a gun enthusiast, but you might want to put the “safety” latch on the gun the next time you carry it around in sweatpants (hopefully there is no “next time”).Â
Someone on the radio made a good observation. The NFL has security/bodyguards at their disposal for players. All Plax had to do was call (or have someone call) the Giants and tell them he was going out. The Giants have people in player-relations dept that could have contacted the NFL and had security at Plax’s disposal (someone with a license to carry a firearm).Â
Steve Smith? I don’t know what to make of that.
What do people think of Manny on the Yankees? I’m weighing it in my mind. Shorter contract duration than Texeria – better run producer. No defense but as long as the Yanks clear out Matsui and can get someone who can retrieve the ball in CF, wouldn’t that make sense? I don’t know, I’m still weighing it, because with Manny along come some other issues. Manny was sufficiently motivated because he knew he was getting a new contract – once he gets it…. does he revert back to some of his antics and lose that motivation? Things to think about…..
