Hitchin a new ride.

That’s it. I’m officially hitchin’ my way onto another Bandwagon. News from the winter meetings is that CC wants to be a Dodger. Well guess what CC, if you don’t want to be a Yankee, we don’t want you.  Here’s some snipets from the story:
According to a baseball man with knowledge of the meeting, Sabathia wanted to meet with the Yankees on Sunday because he’s “trying to gather information” about the franchise and New York.
Sabathia and his agent, Greg Genske, met for about 2½ hours on Sunday with a Yankees GM Brian Cashman and manager Joe Girardi. And the main focus of the conversation, the source said, was whether Sabathia wants to be a Yankee.
“TRYING TO GATHER INFORMATION” about the franchise and New York?? Are you F$%King kidding me?! It’s the New York Yankees, the most storied franchise in American sports. The team with 26 World Championships and 39 Pennants. That’s 24 more Championships and 33 more AL Pennants than the your two previous employers (the Indians and the Brewers) have combined. Come to think of it, they have more championships than any other North American franchise in professional sports history!! Here’s the wiki page CC if you want to peruse the web to “gather some more information” on the franchise.  Give me a break.
As for New York. Again, you’ve got to be kiding me, right? I guess having grown up in California, and then spending your formative baseball years in Cleveland and a few months in Milwaukee, you haven’t had the opportunity to fully appreciate how spectacular New York City is. It’s basically the shining beacon for all of America. That’s why the terrorists attacked here (oh wait that’s not a great selling point. On second thought it is simply because the city bounced back immediately) This city is a phenomenal confluence of business, construction, sports, culture, music, politics, influence etc. New York has everything.  Just to further hammer the point, here’s a list of songs about New York. Why are there so many? Because NY is amazing. Trust me, there aren’t nearly as many songs about LA.Â
As for the 2 1/2 hours that Cashman and Girardi spent trying to convince this guy to play for New York, those are 2 1/2 hours they will never get back. As I said earlier, enough with this B.S. please rescue us C.C. crap. Take the money (which has been out there for 4 weeks) off the table and spend it on Texiera and Lowe.  Enough of this guy.
