I really didn’t want Cameron. He’s a big strike out guy…something this lineup doesn’t need. They now have two big strike out guys in Swisher and Cameron. They need more offense. Damon is old and prone to injury; Matsui is old, prone to injury, and is generally not the same player; Nady had a good year – but who knows if he can repeat; Swisher might turn it around – or he could turn in a repeat performance of 2008.

They still have not replaced the production of Giambi/Abreu…and A-Rod has no protection.

With the quality of pitching in the AL East….the Yanks better do something with their offense – which was terrible last year.

I hope Cashman doesn’t think this offense will suffice in 2009.
