My Dad (who worked for Universal International pictures for 55 years) worked on Touch of Mink as a spot film editor and I saw the movie even before it was released in the theatres. I was telling Joe before that I had an autographed 11 x 14 picture of Doris Day with Mickey, Roger and Yogi sitting in the dugout. The picture was priceless and, unfortunately, when we cleaned out my parents’ home last year we did not find it.

Back then the Yankees were larger than life. I guess nothing really changes given the $750 million spent by the team in the last two years alone on five or so “free” agents.
