Doesn’t matter that the snippet came from Donohue himself.  It was in the book and Torre’s name is on the book.  Torre said he is proud of what is in the book.  Do you think he’s proud of the Clemen’s testicles passage?  I think it’s pretty easy to take a shot at Roger these days.  He can’t really fight back.  I wonder if there was no HGH issue for Roger, would Torre have included this in the book?

As for retiring #6, right now I’d say no, but I would rather wait for a few years to make that decision to see how Torre and the Yankees handle their relationship and the aftermath of the book.
